ZenG Project:
The ZenG Project, supported by the Erasmus+ programme, is a European initiative focused on promoting youth mental health, emotional resilience, and well-being through mindfulness-based non-formal education. In today’s challenging environment, many young people face stress caused by academic pressure, social media, financial uncertainty, isolation, and limited access to mental health support. ZenG responds by providing practical, inclusive, and accessible tools designed for youth work settings.
The project places youth workers at the centre of its activities by equipping them with training modules, mindfulness techniques, emotional regulation practices, guided resources, and digital tools that can be integrated into their daily work with young people. Through these resources, youth workers gain the skills needed to better support young people experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional difficulties, or social barriers.
ZenG gives special attention to disadvantaged young people, including those from rural or socio-economically vulnerable communities where mental health services are often limited. Through research, educational materials, digital resources, training activities, and dissemination events, the project promotes a supportive and non-stigmatizing approach to mental well-being.
By connecting partners from France, Sweden, and Greece, ZenG creates a collaborative European space for innovation, inclusion, active citizenship, and sustainable support for youth mental health and resilience.
